WDG | Architects Engineers provided Master Planning and Conceptual Design services for the City of Gonzales in 2018. This was part of an ongoing effort for various stakeholders, including the City of Gonzales, to plan for a commuter rail corridor connecting Baton Rouge and New Orleans with several stops in between.

​The scope of work for the master planning included urban studies, pedestrian/bike/bus/vehicle planning, and the conceptual design and planning of a commuter rail passenger station, parking lot, pick-up/drop-off areas, and an adjacent park concept. The master planning effort was a collaboration with ARUP.
